Joseph Gordon-Levitt is an American actor. After starring in the TV series 3rd Rock from the Sun, he has gone on to star in films such as 500 Days of Summer, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, Lincoln, Snowden, and The Trial of the Chicago 7. He also wrote and directed the film Don Jon.
Gordon-Levitt starred in Rian Johnson's debut feature film Brick, as well as his film Looper. Since then, Gordon-Levitt has cameoed in all of Johnson's films, including The Brothers Bloom and Star Wars: The Last Jedi. He has contributed to all three Benoit Blanc films: in Knives Out he voices "Detective Hardrock" on the television show that Marta's sister is watching; in Glass Onion he voices the "Hourly Dong" on Miles Bron's island; and in Wake Up Dead Man he voices the announcer for the baseball game Samson Holt watches.
